49 - The Chambers
Thou Allah! Thou Gracious! Thou Merciful! Thou Beloved!
- You who listen but have not heard! Do not eclipse Allah and his Message; Do not hide Allah, do not hide from Allah; bare yourselves to the one who hears and knows all things.
- You who listen but have not heard! Raise not your voice above the voices of the Anbiyaa, nor speak so loudly that you startle the sparrows. The din of your voice drowns out the message of the prophets, the messengers. Instead of love, instead of light, you will have only vanity and pale comfort.
- Those that lower their voices in the presence of Allah's Anbiyaa, hear Allah before the sun has risen too high.
- Shout out to Allah all you wish. Allah does not attend to voices from those who do not have lodging in the Inner Apartments.
- Patience! Learn to speak with Allah's lips, see with Allah's eyes, live with Allah's body!
- You who know! If a person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm others, and afterwards become full of repentance for what you have done.
- Know that among you are Allah's Messengers: the messenger is not here to follow your desires, to be as you imagine he should be. Were he to follow your dream of him you would certainly suffer. Allah has bestowed light and vision on you; beautiful in your hearts. The messengers are here to recruit you to yourself, to remind you of the beauty of Allah.
- You are the Grace and Favor of Allah; Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.
- The Believers and Non-believers are but a single Brotherhood: so make peace and reconciliation.
- O ye who believe! Do not seek to seperate one brother from another by words or deeds, nor by silence or inaction.
- O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion: for suspicion stiffens the weighty veils of illusion. That which you seek to protect with suspicion does not exist. What are you protecting?
- Your religion is Awakening to the one reality and then living its implications in the marketplace.
